What a great time with Yaquina Bay Charters
I had an awesome time spending 3 days out on the coast of Newport Oregon. Fishing for Black Sea bass and a number of other rock fish that school towards the bottom. The weather was nice, a little cold when the wind kicked up, but the seas weren’t to bad and we had some decent fishing. Crabbing was a blast. I think my father and I will be heading up for the Salmon run in late September if all goes as planned.

Fishing in Newport Oregon this July
My wife and I will be traveling up to Newport Oregon in 2 weeks. I am crossing my fingers that the Tuna will arrive before I get there. I’ll give fish reports while I’m up there. If not, I’ll try fishing for Rock fish, something I’ve not done yet. Should be fun and a good trip. -MCS.
